Perfect for all water sports, performance and elegance. In the 1960s, scuba diving was all the rage. For divers, time was everything, and Breitling gave them a highly recognisable dive watch by eliminating any features that didn’t contribute to their underwater rescue needs. This simple watch was named the Superocean Slow Motion. It retains clean lines, eye-catching luminous scales, square hands and a high-contrast dial ring, all designed to maximize readability. Practicality is one aspect, but what people really like is its appearance. The new Superocean continues the famous design language of the “Slow Motion” while adding modern features such as a wear-resistant ceramic bezel and a brightly coloured dial. The large, rainbow-coloured hands and hour markers are coated with Super-LumiNova®, making them very easy to read and adding an extra touch of fun. The watch is water-resistant to a depth of 300 metres (1,000 feet) and is resistant to shock, sand and seawater corrosion. The bronze model uses a special alloy that has excellent corrosion resistance, but it still presents a subtle patina over time, making the watch more unique. The rubber strap is equipped with a folding clasp, which can be fine-tuned up to 15 mm, making it easy to wear with swimsuits and wetsuits. For safety, the bezel adopts a unidirectional rotating design. Most importantly, it is no longer a strict diving watch - it is suitable for surfing, swimming, beach bars, going out for dinner and other occasions.
